LICENSEE INFORMATION

The application will utilize the following form to determine the license type available for the licensee automatically.

The license types are as follows:

Keiki Licenses:
The licensee is a child is from the ages of 9 through 15, inclusive. Only a minor's parent or legal guardian is allowed to purchase a license for a minor. The application must be filled out by the minor's parent or legal guardian who must also read and accept the accompanying statement(s) of liability.

Adult Resident:
This is a year long permit for those that are domiciled in Hawaii for at least a year.

Military Stationed In Hawaii:
This type of permit is for adults that are stationed in Hawaii. This will bypass any and all residency requirements.

Non-Resident:
You do not meet the residency requirements.
The license types are 7-day, 30-day and Full Year.

Senior Citizen:
This license type is given to adults that are 65 years or older.

Warning
  • Applications for children under the age of 16 must be filled out and paid for by the minor's parent or legal guardian.
  • Additionally, children under the age of 9 do not require a license, although you can still purchase a keiki license for the child if you wish.
